There’s worrying news from Turin as Juventus defender Renato Veiga trained separately this morning, potentially worsening Igor Tudor’s selection crisis in defence for a key game at Venezia.
Portuguese defender Renato Veiga did not train with the rest of the Juventus squad this morning due to a muscle issue, Ilbianconero.com reports.

According to the Turin-based media outlet, Veiga is dealing with muscle fatigue.
It’s pretty bad news for coach Tudor, given that Federico Gatti, another centre-back, continued to train separately on Friday, like central midfielders Teun Koopmeiners and Weston McKennie.
Juventus are already without injured defenders Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal, and the suspended Pierre Kalulu.
The Bianconeri are fighting for a Champions League spot, and a win in the season’s final game against strugglers Venezia would give them access to Europe’s elite competition for 2025-26.
Lloyd Kelly returned to action last week after recovering from a hamstring injury.
As things stand, the ex-Newcastle defender is set to start in a three-man backline against Venezia, joining Alberto Costa and Nicolò Savona.
