Juventus have still not finalised the new contract agreement with Kenan Yildiz, but remain confident they can resist interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona.

The Turkish talent was picked up as a free agent from the Bayern Munich youth academy in the summer of 2022 and has since flourished, taking on the iconic Number 10 jersey for the senior squad.

He only celebrated his 20th birthday in May, and the current contract runs to June 2029, but Juve have been in negotiations for months to lock him down to a lucrative deal.

There had been suggestions a few weeks ago that they were on the verge of shaking hands, but the latest reports point to a slowdown in those talks.

His current salary is just €1.5m per season, so that would be tripled in the new agreement and extended to June 2030, the maximum length for Italian contracts.

Optimism remains that Kenan Yildiz will put pen to paper and resist the calls from abroad, specifically Chelsea, Barcelona and Arsenal.

According to Quotidiano Sportivo, the Gunners would be prepared to offer €55m plus Gabriel Jesus to get hold of the Turkish starlet.

La Gazzetta dello Sport maintain that Juve rejected a proposal worth €70m from Chelsea in July.

Kenan Yildiz has contributed two goals and four assists in eight appearances for Juventus this season between Serie A and the Champions League.
