Josh Allen, James Cook and the Buffalo Bills eked out a 31-21 win over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.

The Bills might not have won by a double-digit margin, like they were expected to do pregame, but their star players still impressed.

Allen led the Bills on a game-winning touchdown drive. He found Khalil Shakir for the winning score. The drive was extended by a roughing the punter penalty on the Dolphins.

Allen completed 22 of his 28 passes for 213 yards, threw for three touchdowns and ran for 25 more yards.

Allen also became the fastest player to 300 touchdown passes on Thursday night. He beat the record previously set by Patrick Mahomes.

Cook eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the second straight week. He ran for 108 yards on 19 carries against a Miami defense that has allowed over 100 rushing yards in each of the first three games.

Allen, Cook and the Bills are now 3-0 and have 10 days to rest before next Sunday’s home clash with the New Orleans Saints. The Bills could easily start 5-0 with the Saints and New England Patriots next up on the schedule.
