Joey Logano bounced back after a miserable performance at Darlington Raceway. Following the NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington, Logano finished in third place at Martinsville Speedway, earning 46 points over the three stages. It was a much-needed run for the driver of the No. 22 car on Sunday.

Logano sits 12th in the point standings, but the No. 22 team executed very well at Martinsville on Sunday afternoon. This should give Logano some confidence moving forward, as Team Penske has been up and down to start the 2026 NASCAR season. After all, Austin Cindric is sitting outside of the Chase bubble right now.

There was plenty of debate regarding Logano after Darlington, but Martinsville was a good way to put that chatter to bed for the time being. The first off weekend of the 2026 NASCAR season is coming at a good time, as Logano and the No. 22 team can focus on carrying momentum to Bristol Motor Speedway in two weeks.
