The Winnipeg Jets wrap up a three-game Eastern Conference road trip with a showdown against the Washington Capitals in a battle for first place in the NHL.
The Jets are 8-2-0 in their last 10 games and have won five straight, including two consecutive on the road against the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins. Tonight’s test will be their toughest, but with recent contributions from all over their lineup and high confidence, the Jets are more than prepared for this challenge.
Morgan Barron and Adam Lowry remain on the injured reserve and after a strong NHL debut, Parker Ford will keep his spot in the lineup. HC Scott Arniel has elected to make no changes to the lineup that triumphantly beat the Bruins 6-2.

Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor became the first teammates to reach 30 goals in the 2024-25 season. Scheifele scored twice against the Bruins and Connor added an empty-net goal to secure his 30th goal of the season.
The Capitals enter tonight’s game as losers of two of their last three but are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. Alex Ovechkin and Dylan Strome’s chemistry continues to improve and they scored three of the Capitals’ four goals in a 5-4 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
With how well Connor Hellebuyck has been playing this season, most goalies are fighting for second place and one of those competitors is Logan Thompson, the 27-year-old netminder that he’ll square off against. Thompson is posting a 23-2-3 record with a .927 SV% and a 2.05 GAA.
Tonight’s tilt is must-see television and the puck will drop at 6:00 P.M. CST at the Capital One Center.
