Isaiah Oliver and the Jets have agreed to terms on a contract, bringing the cornerback back to New York, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

After joining Gang Green last season, Oliver recorded 57 combined tackles (42 solo), including two tackles for loss, and had two QB hits and a sack to go along with three passes defended in 17 games (seven starts).

The 28-year-old entered the league with the Atlanta Falcons where he spent five seasons after getting drafted in the second round of he 2018 NFL Draft. He then played one season for the San Francisco 49ers before landing on the Jets.

After the departure of D.J. Reed this offseason, Oliver may be asked to play a bigger role this season alongside Sauce Gardner.

New York is also signing OT Chukwuma Okorafor who played for the New England Patriots last year but left the team after one game and didn’t return. Between 2020-2023, Okorafor started 55 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers where he spent his first six seasons.
