The checkered flag is out for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Rockingham Speedway.

Jesse Love won the North Carolina Education Lottery 250 on April 19 at Rockingham, earning a victory in overtime, passing Sammy Smith on the restart for the win.

This was the first NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Rockingham Speedway since 2004.

Kasey Kahne, a former long-time NASCAR Cup Series driver, got caught up in a crash on lap 57 following a Katherine Legge spin and went a lap down. He later was caught up in a crash on lap 236 when Daniel Dye spun. Kahne finished 15th.

Ryan Sieg led 72 laps and was poised to earn his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series race, but he nearly ran out of gas under caution with 11 laps to go and was then caught up in a multi-car crash on a restart with 10 laps to go.

Nick Sanchez won the first stage and Dean Thompson earned the win for the second stage. The Rockingham race had 15 cautions for 77 laps and 16 lead changes. The race was red flagged twice for accidents within the final 10 laps.

Sammy Smith won the Dash 4 Cash and the $100,000 bonus.
