Pachuca has stood out in recent years for its youth academy and foreign signings, including Moroccan Oussama Idrissi, who has shone in recent tournaments.
His performance has placed him as one of the best strikers in Liga MX and, therefore, has sparked the interest of other clubs.
Faced with rumors of a possible departure of Idrissi to Tigres, coach Jaime Lozano spoke about it.
“Oussama’s situation is an open secret… when those economically powerful teams arrive, he could leave. For me, this would already be the squad with which we would compete in the coming months,” said ‘Jimmy’.
Lozano also explained that the player is not yet available due to an injury.
“He’s not ready. He’s having a recovery, maybe for Houston Dynamo, but tomorrow is difficult,” commented the strategist on the Moroccan’s physical condition.
Regarding a possible arrival of Sebastián Córdova to Pachuca, Jaime Lozano clarified: “That’s a question for Jesús Martínez, not for me. He’s a player I admire a lot… I had the fortune of being with him in Gallos Sub-20, he knows I have a great affection for him,” he concluded.
