That victory came back in February at the Genesis Invitational after he held off Rory McIlroy to lift the trophy at Riviera.

Bridgeman enjoyed a really impressive 2026 season, ending up in a tie for fourth in the FedEx Cup standings.

And the 26-year-old’s exceptional putting was the bedrock of his success.
He was ranked 1st in strokes gained putting, having gained 0.693 strokes on the field on the greens on average in every round he played in 2026.

Bridgeman also performed superbly well in all of the other key putting statistical categories.
The 26-year-old was ranked 1st in total putting, 3rd in putts per GIR, 5th in putts per round, 7th in one-putt percentage, and 3rd in three-putt avoidance.
There is no doubt that Jacob Bridgeman has all of the tools to go on and become a multiple PGA Tour winner.

However, if he is to reach the next level, he needs to improve his driving and approach play.
Jacob Bridgeman was ranked 77th in strokes gained off the tee and 50th in strokes gained approach on the PGA Tour in 2026.
The American will be looking to improve on his driving and iron play in 2027, but maintaining his fine putting will be just as crucial to his chances of winning again.
