Jordan Love is heading into his fourth season as the Packers’ starting quarterback, but in some ways, this feels like the first season where he’ll be asked to be the face of the franchise.
2023 was very much a trial period. He had to prove he could do the job, and ultimately he did. The Packers extended him accordingly the next summer.

In 2024, Josh Jacobs arrived and Love got hurt. Jacobs carried the load on offense while Love worked his way back.
In 2025, the Packers seemed poised to just try to run back the 2024 outfit — but then they traded for Micah Parsons, and the whole season became a referendum on the Parsons move.
But things are different this year. Parsons is out to start the season. Jacobs is suspended. The Packers’ revamped their wide receiver room to maximize the impact of their investments there, and they’ll welcome Tucker Kraft back to the fold this year as well. It’s all perfectly set up to make Love the load-bearing piece of their offense.
In short, this year we should all be living in Jordan’s world. The stage is set. Can he be the franchise player he was intended to be?
