Manchester United’s preparations for a new season of the Premier League see them take on Wrexham with the Championship side meeting the Red Devils in Finland.
The match in Helsinki will be the first of Man United’s pre-season campaign, as Michael Carrick readies himself for his first full season as club coach.

Meanwhile, it will be the second pre-season game for Wrexham this summer, after the Welsh outfit drew 0-0 with Wisla Krakow earlier in July.

Wrexham have climbed through the leagues quickly in recent seasons, amid major investment from Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, although they just missed out on a play-off spot last term.

When is the match?
Man United vs Wrexham will kick off at 4pm BST on Saturday 18 July. The game will take place at Helsinki’s Olympic Stadium in Finland.

JJ Gabriel has not travelled with Man United, nor has Benjamin Sesko, who is still not fully fit after his 2025/26 season was cut short due to injury. Manuel Ugarte is also still out injured, so will not feature here.
Furthermore, several players are still absent due to their involvement in the World Cup knockout stages, including finalist Lisandro Martinez, new signing Youri Tielemans, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Matheus Cunha, Noussair Mazraoui, Altay Bayindir, Amad Diallo and Senne Lammens.
Yet Andrey Santos, who just joined the club from Chelsea, could feature after being pictured in training.
