Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is reportedly in contention for the starting lineup ahead of Saturday’s home clash against Genoa.
According to Sky Sport Italia via FCInterNews, the Turkish midfielder is in line for his first Serie A start since the beginning of January.

Cristian Chivu lost his starting playmaker during Inter’s 2-2 home draw against Napoli at the start of the new calendar year.
However, the 32-year-old returned to action a fortnight ago, making a cameo appearance against Juventus at San Siro.
Unfortunately, he has since had to miss three consecutive games in all competitions after renewing his calf problem.

Hakan Calhanoglu resumed full training yesterday and completed another session today.
Therefore, it’s fair to say that he has regained full fitness ahead of Genoa’s visit to San Siro this weekend.
Furthermore, Chivu is reportedly ready to bring the former AC Milan man back to the starting XI.
Meanwhile, Calhanoglu’s absence could affect Piotr Zielinski’s first-team status, considering the Pole has been occupying his role in recent weeks.
