Amanda Anisimova just made history when she became the first American to make the Wimbledon finals since tennis legend Serena Williams advanced to the iconic match in 2019.

The 23-year-old New Jersey native, now based in Miami, stunned crowds on Thursday when she defeated the top-ranked player, Aryna Sabalenka, 27, in the semifinals, advancing herself to the final round.

“This doesn’t feel real right now,” the young tennis star told reporters after winning the historic match, according to ESPN. “I was absolutely dying out there. I don’t know how I pulled it out.”

There’s no question that Anisimova is quickly making a name for herself and becoming more and more financially independent.

Off the court, Anisimova leads a glamorous lifestyle – from training in Miami Beach to living in a stunning home.

She lives in a lavish $1.3 million Miami penthouse

When she’s not competing, Anisimova is regularly spotted putting in work at the Miami Beach Tennis Center in North Beach, not far from her home.

The 23-year-old American tennis player lives in a Miami Beach penthouse apartment, which was purchased for $870,000 in 2020, according to Realtor.com.

It’s now worth an estimated $1.3 million.

At the time of her purchase, Anisimova was still at the young age of 18, so her mother’s name is also listed on the deed of the home.

In its original property description, the 2005-built penthouse apartment is described as having elegant finishes and said it was renovated extensively before Anisimova and her family purchased it.

It also features a sprawling balcony with sweeping city views and a rooftop pool.

Anisimova has spent most of her life chasing her tennis dream in Florida

Anisimova has spent much of her life chasing her tennis dream in Florida.

Her family relocated to the Sunshine State from New Jersey when she was a child to give her and her older sister, Maria, better tennis coaching opportunities. While she’s proven to be the biggest tennis star in her family, her sister played through college before retiring early, and her father previously served as her tennis coach.

The 23-year-old Wimbledon star has worked nearly her entire life for the chance to play in the Wimbledon finals.

However, even though she put in the grit and determination to get there, the young tennis star was still surprised to make it.

“To be honest, if you told me I would be in the final of Wimbledon, I would not believe you,” Anisimova said after the match, per ESPN.

“At least not this soon, because it’s been a year turnaround since coming back, and to be in this spot, it’s not easy. So many people dream of competing on this incredible court,” she continued. “It’s been such a privilege to compete here, and to be in the final is just indescribable.”

So far, the work has paid off.

According to “Celebrity Net Worth,” Anisimova currently has a net worth of $3 million. However, that number will likely go up significantly when her final match at Wimbledon is finished.
