We asked for your views on Brentford’s current injury situation and whether you think it will have an impact on the club’s push for European football.
Here are some of your thoughts:
Peter: It might seem like sacrilege, but I’m not too fussed about qualifying for Europe. It would only damage our prospects of staying in the Premier League. The injury concerns only support my contention that we’re not yet strong enough to support participation in Europe, as much as I would love to see it eventually.

Colin: If the youngsters on the bench are good enough to be there, injuries or not to other squad members, give them a go during a match. You never know what might happen. In the words of Del Boy, he who dares wins!
Mark: The small size of our squad has been a continuing problem when it comes to injuries. Should we qualify for Europe this season, the problem would probably be exacerbated by the increase in the number of games we would have to play. Money needs to be found from somewhere to buy more players.
