Hull City are in talks to sign Leon Bailey from Aston Villa, according to The Athletic.
The newly promoted Premier League club have held talks with Villa and the player’s representatives in recent days.

Bailey is not part of manager Unai Emery’s future plans and the Midlands outfit are seeking a permanent transfer for him this summer.
Turkish outfit Trabzonspor and La Liga side Celta Vigo have also expressed an interest in the 28-year-old, but he prefers to remain in England.
Bailey joined Villa from Bayer Leverkusen in 2021. He has made 163 appearances across all competitions, bagging 23 goals and 25 assists in the process.
The experienced forward was sent on a season-long loan to Roma last summer, but injury issues wrecked his spell in Italy, starting just one Serie A game.
He was recalled back to Villa in January and made 13 Premier League appearances for them.

Villa are enduring a difficult summer transfer window. They lost Youri Tielemans to Manchester United, and now Morgan Rogers is poised to join Chelsea in a British record £117 million fee.
The Lions have added talented midfielder Johan Manzambi but they also want an elite winger who can run beyond opposition defences.
Bailey, who has a year left on his contract at Villa Park, is no longer viewed as a preferred option for Emery.
