Torrential downpours moved through the Memphis, Tennessee, area late Friday afternoon, halting play and preventing 21 golfers from finishing their second round at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The second round will resume at 8:30 a.m. ET, and the third round will follow.

Tommy Fleetwood followed his 7-under on Thursday with a 6-under on Friday and leads the field by four strokes. Trailing the Englishman at 9-under in a three-way tie are Collin Morikawa, Akshay Bhatia and Justin Rose, who was on hole No. 17 at the time play was suspended.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is in a four-way tie for seventh place at 7-under after he carded a 4-under for the round.
