The 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season is nearing its end.
On Saturday, we have the second race of the Round of 8 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Eight drivers remain in the chase for the title. One, Grant Enfinger, won last time out at Talladega to lock up one spot in the Championship 4 at Phoenix next month, but seven drivers are battling for the final three spots.
In order of where they currently sit in the point standings, those drivers are Corey Heim, Christian Eckes, Ty Majeski, Rajah Caruth, Taylor Gray, Nick Sanchez and Tyler Ankrum.

Last year, Carson Hocevar won this race, with Ben Rhodes finishing second and Heim finishing third. Heim led 57 laps and should be viewed as one of the top contenders in this weekend’s Baptist Health 200.
Meanwhile, the only playoff driver with a win here in the Truck Series is Ty Majeski, the winner of the 2022 race. Majeski led 67 laps in that race to take the victory.
If one of the playoff drivers wins this race, he will lock up a Championship 4 spot, which would leave just one more up for grabs next when the series heads to Martinsville Speedway for the Zip Buy Now, Pay Later 200.
