The 2025 Walker Cup is here.
The biennial competition, which features 10 of the best amateurs from the United States against their counterparts from Great Britain & Ireland, begins Saturday morning at famed Cypress Point Club in Pebble Beach, California.
Cypress Point is ranked No. 1 on Golfweek’s Best list of Classic Courses in the U.S., and this is the second time the Walker Cup will be held there and the first in 44 years. This is also the 50th edition of the competition, which is arguably the best in all of amateur golf.
Walker Cup format
Action begins Saturday with morning foursomes and eight afternoon singles matches. Then on Sunday, there will be another foursomes session in the morning with all 10 players competing in singles to complete the match.
The United States leads the all-time series, 39-9-1.
