Schedule 1 puts you in the shoes of a drug dealer, starting small and trying to make it big. One major component is Meth, a lucrative and addictive drug that is bound to make you lots of cash.
But getting to it is challenging, and making it more difficult still, so here’s everything you need to know about making Meth in Schedule 1.
How to cook Meth in Schedule 1
Cooking Meth in Schedule 1 requires a bit of setting up, since it is a mid-game drug that isn’t available at the start of your drug-dealing story. You will have to move up in the streets, gain some recognition, and only then will you be afforded the opportunity to become Walter Hartwell White himself and establish a drug empire. Here’s everything you need to do.
Level up to Hustler 5
First thing’s first: getting your name out there. Meth in Schedule 1 is reserved only for the big guns and they aren’t ready to let just anyone into the market. You’ll have to prove your worth by reaching the Hustler 5 level, which shouldn’t be too difficult.
The best way of gaining XP in Schedule 1 is moving as much product as possible each day, so make sure to grab any opportunity to sell you can get. Purchasing several growth tents early is also a good idea, and so is getting multiple seeds. Making good mixes can also drive the price up, and thus the daily XP, so ensure you make use of that as well.
Purchase the Lab Oven, Chemistry Station, and supplies from Oscar
Once you’re at Hustler 5, you’ll get a prompt to speak with Uncle Nelson, who will instruct you to the Warehouse at the east side of the town, near the Motel. There, you’ll meet several characters: a fixer, an arms dealer, and an (illegal) merchant. This last one, called Oscar, sells the equipment necessary to make Meth. These include acid and phosphorus as the ingredients, and the Lab Oven and Chemistry Station pieces of equipment.
All four of these are required to produce Meth and Oscar is the best and quickest way of obtaining them. One more ingredient, Psuedo, requires you to unlock a new supplier, Shirley Watts. This is best done by making friends with Jerry Montero, who will purchase all sorts of things from you once you’re in the Westville side of the map. Once Shirley is unlocked, what you have to do is pop her a message and ask for some Pseudo, and she’ll drop it off at a random part of the map for you.
Combine the ingredients
The next step is to put those quite expensive ingredients at work. First, bring them over to the chemistry table and pour them into the container. Mix until they’re dissolved, and then lower the beaker. Pour the mixture into the beaker and bring it back up over the fire. Stoke the flames so the line falls into the green bit and hold it there. If it goes over you’re risking blowing everything up, while going lower means the progress is reset.
The best course of action here is to tap the valve rather than holding it, as that lets you maintain the line perfectly. Once the beaker is at 100 percent, it’ll start cooking for some eight minutes, during which you can prepare the packaging and set up some deals.
Bake the Liquid Meth and produce crystals
Once the chemistry lab produces the Liquid Meth, you’ll need to put it in the oven. After baking it thoroughly, you’ll have to take it out of the oven and break it with a hammer into smaller chunks, which can then be packaged in baggies or jars, based on how much you want to sell at a time.
And that’s it, you’ve cooked your first batch of Meth. Now go out there and become the Heisenberg you were always meant to be.
