Charlie Woods had one major highlight in an otherwise mundane three days at the Junior Players Championship.

Woods, a junior at the Benjamin School and the son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, shot an even-par 72 in the third and final of the Junior Players Championship on Aug. 31.

But his best moment in the round was the hole-in-one he scored on the par-3 third hole.

He finished the three-day championship 7 over, tied for 31st out of the 75 players in the field (three withdrew).

Woods began the round on the 10th tee and was out at level par 36 with three pars, three bogeys and three birdies.

After the ace on 3, double-bogeyed the fourth and bogeyed the fifth before making a birdie on the par-4 sixth.

Jacksonville Beach’s Miles Russell, the Round 1 co-leader with Nicholas Logis and the Round 2 leader, won the tournament, finishing 9 under, two better than Bailey Sutter.

Since 2007, the best male amateurs ages 19 and under have played at the home of the Players Championship on the PGA Tour. Russell won the event back in 2023 when he was 14, the youngest winner ever.

Here’s a hole-by-hole look at Charlie Woods’ second round scoreboard at the Junior Players Champioship:
