Olympic champion and former UFC two-division titleholder Henry Cejudo makes his professional boxing debut against unbeaten prospect and actor Javon “Wanna” Walton in the main event of Misfits Boxing’s return to Miami this Saturday, Sept. 26.
Cejudo, 39, is one of the most accomplished combat sports athletes of his era. In addition to being a 2008 Olympic freestyle wrestling gold medalist, he captured UFC championships at flyweight and bantamweight before retiring from MMA for a second time in late 2025. Cejudo has nonetheless remained active in combat sports, competing in Real American Freestyle, but Saturday marks his first professional boxing match.

Cejudo was originally scheduled to face Misfits Boxing veteran Deen The Great, however Deen withdrew less than two weeks before the event.
The 20-year-old Walton, who accepted the bout as a short-notice replacement, is best known outside of boxing for his acting career, highlighted by his role as Ashtray in HBO’s “Euphoria.” That being said, he still enters Saturday with more professional boxing experience than Cejudo; Walton owns a 3-0-1 (1 KO) pro record and most recently defeated Anthony Mora by unanimous decision in September 2025.
