Under the guidance of our travel editor, Jason Lusk, Golfweek has long stood as one of the game’s premier resources for golf travel, delivering trusted insight on where to play, stay and explore.
That passion comes through every Friday afternoon in our Golf Life newsletter, which lands in the inboxes of hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Each edition is packed with destination inspiration, course reviews, and the latest news on renovations and new builds across the golf landscape. But since Golfweek joined the USA Today distribution platform in 2025, those deeper, more immersive travel stories have too often been pushed aside on a homepage dominated by the sport’s biggest headlines.

Now, thanks to a partnership with Zurich, those stories have a home once again.
Video plays a larger role in Golfweek’s new Golf Life website.
The newly launched Golf Life website serves as a dedicated hub for Golfweek’s travel coverage, making it easy to discover the photo‑ and video‑rich features that define the experience of golf beyond the scorecard. As Golfweek’s renowned panel of raters continues its global search for the world’s best courses, the site will grow alongside it, featuring expanded travel reporting, original videos, and expansive photo galleries. It also offers a collective place to find all of Golfweek’s Best rankings, from our top 200 modern and classic courses to new features like the best PGA Tour courses.
For Lusk — who has championed the idea of a standalone platform for years — the launch marks an important step forward. It’s a chance to better serve golf travelers everywhere, keeping them informed, inspired, and dreaming about their next great round.

“The Golf Life has been a focus of Golfweek magazine for decades, and it’s awesome to see this new website come to life as a way to consolidate so many stories and especially videos for readers in one easy-to-find location,” he said.
In the coming months, readers will see more real estate content, as well as an even stronger video presence on the site. We hope you come along for the journey.
