SAUK CENTRE — The Paynesville boys and girls golf teams each won their respective divisions Monday in the Central Minnesota Conference championships at Lynx National Golf Course.

The Paynesville boys shot 338 to beat Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, which finished second with a 350. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa took fourth with a 361.

Royalton’s Zach Schraut won medalist honors with a 75. ACGC’s Bode Brekke took second with a 78 and the Falcons’ Prestan Lilleberg finished fourth with an 83.

Paynesville’s top finisher was Dylan Christensen, who placed third with an 82.

Paynesville’s girls shot a 290 to cruise past second-place Osakis, which had a 330. The CMC used the top three scorers for their team score.

ACGC’s Brooke Brekke won medalist honors with an 82. Paynesville’s Peyton Roeske and Osakis’ Leah Maddock tied for second with 89s. ACGC’s Laila Zaeska took fourth place with a 94 and Paynesville’s Bria Larson fifth with a 99.

Minnetonka shot a 307 to beat Eden Prairie by one stroke in the Mound-Westonka Invitational at Burl Oaks Golf Club in Minnetrista.

Litchfield finished 13th in the 14-team field with a 365.

Buffalo’s Russell Ylitalo and Minnetonka’s Wyatt Hawkins tied for medalist honors with 73s.

Litchfield’s top finisher was Ty Olson. He tied for 52nd with an 88.
