We are definitely in the middle of major season. Across the three major tours (PGA Tour, LPGA, PGA Tour Champions) that have established major championships, this week’s U.S. Senior Open will be the third major of a seven-week stretch in which eight majors are taking place.
Hot on the heels of the U.S. Open at Shinnecock was last week’s KPMG Women’s PGA. That brings us to the Senior Open this week. Next up will be another LPGA major, which will take place the same week as the PGA Tour Champions major formerly known as the Senior Players.

Then it’s the final men’s major at Royal Birkdale in England, followed by the Senior Open in Scotland, followed by the Women’s Open, the final 2026 major of the three tours.
