The Giants are bringing in another wide receiver, signing veteran Zach Pascal, the team announced Saturday.
Pascal, 30, has played 112 games (47 starts) over seven seasons in the NFL with 169 receptions for 2,057 yards and 16 TDs.
He went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Old Dominion and had a brief stint with Washington before landing on the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad for most of the 2017 season.
Pascal was later claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts and made the 53-man roster for the 2018 season. He had a solid stint in Indy over four seasons from 2018 through 2021, making 150 receptions for 1,888 yards and 15 touchdowns over 64 games (44 starts).
His production and playing time has dipped over the last three years, as he spent the 2022 season with the Philadelphia Eagles (15 receptions over 17 games [two starts]) and the past two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals (four catches in 14 games [one start] in 2023 and no receptions in 17 games [zero starts] in 2024).
Pascal and fellow WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey, who signed with NY on Friday, will both be fighting for a roster spot in a now crowded WR room. The 30-year-old played mostly special teams with Arizona in 2024 (64 percent of snaps), so that will likely be his path to make the team.
