The top three finishers in the Genesis Scottish Open not already in the 2025 British Open will get the final three spots. After 36 holes, here’s who’s in best position:

Chris Gotterup, Scottish Open leader at 11 under. He doesn’t need to win Sunday, he just needs to be among the top three finishers.

Matti Schmid, Keith Mitchell and Jake Knapp are tied for sixth at 7 under. Those are the next three not already in sitting in good position but only two of them can go to Royal Portrush, assuming Gotterup maintains his place ahead of them.
