Garrick Higgo’s PGA Championship got off to a pretty rough start. The South African was late to his 7:18 a.m. tee time Thursday morning and was penalized two strokes. He went on to make a par on the first hole, but you’ll see a six on his scorecard.

To his credit, he didn’t let it affect him too much. Through eight holes of his opening round, he’s 1 over for the tournament after getting one of the penalty strokes back on the par-4 third.
At Quail Hollow last year, Higgo made the cut and tied for 55th. He’s still looking for his first top-40 finish in a major championship.
