History of the Galleri Classic golf tournament on PGA Tour Champions schedule
The Galleri Classic is a spring event on the PGA Tour Champions golf schedule
If you head out to any pro golf event, you’re going to want to come home with some tournament-specific merchandise to prove you were there and to have something that will always remind of you the time you had.
The Galleri Classic, an event on the PGA Tour Champions (the senior tour), is in Rancho Mirage this week from Friday, March 28 through Sunday, March 30.
Here are some of the merch items available for purchase at the event aside from the traditional golf shirt with The Galleri Classic logo on it, including a creative and useful autograph-seekers’ kit.
Autograph helper
The Galleri Classic is selling a plastic tube that comes with a white flag, the type you see on the hole pins on the green, that says The Galleri Classic on it and comes with a black Sharpie, perfect for getting autographs of the golfers. It’s the golf equivalent of the oversized tennis ball that kids love to get signed at the BNP Paribas Open. Feels like a great idea for every golf tournament if they aren’t already doing it. Cost: $39.95.
Hats and visors
Kudos to the Galleri Classic for having a large variety in the headwear space. There are tons of colors and designs to choose from here, whereas often you’ll only see two or three hats with the same logo on it at a golf tournament. Cost: $25-$30.
Small and circular
Looking for a cheaper memento, you can get ball markers, hat clips and Galleri Classic coins, as well as Galleri Classic poker chips. All in! Cost: $4.99 to $9.99.
Sweatshirts
In the world of golf, there are sleek jackets, puffer vests, and light long-sleeve zip-ups, so you can stay warm and golf at the same time, but sometimes you just want a good old-fashioned fluffy hooded sweatshirt. And even though this week’s event will be played entirely in 80-degree temperatures, the Galleri classic has you covered. Cost: $60
Barware bonus
Classic water bottles were available, but they also had some traditional barware like these tumblers for wine (at least that’s what I use them for) and a Galleri Classic bar towel/golf towel which I thought was another creative option. Cost: $30
