The 2026 French Open is one of the most anticipated events on the tennis calendar, bringing together the world’s best players to compete on the iconic clay courts of Roland Garros.

Heading into the event, the men’s field is expected to be led by several standout contenders. World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz withdrew from the tournament due to a right wrist injury he suffered at the Barcelona Open in April. This made Jannik Sinner rise as the betting favorite to take home the Muskateers Trophy, with contenders like Novak Djokovic also a major threat to win.

On the women’s side, the favorites and contenders are equally competitive. Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek stand out at the top of the odds board with Coco Gauff and others in the mix.

The Sporting News breaks down the best odds available at DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM and which bets offer the best value across all three books.

Men’s French Open odds

The men’s bracket is built around Sinner as the overwhelming favorite. He has had a dominant season on clay and enters Roland Garros in strong form with a favorable draw. However, Djokovic is still one of the most dangerous players in the men’s tournament because of his experience. While he’s not the favorite, he should always be considered a threat if he reaches the later rounds.

Some of the longshots and dark-horse contenders are hometown favorite Arthur Fils, Daniil Medvedev and Joao Fonesca. Here’s a breakdown of all the odds at DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM.

French Open best value bets

DraftKings best bets

  • Arthur Fils to win the French Open (+2200)

Fils is one of the more intriguing longshots in this tournament. One of the biggest reasons is his performance on clay this year. He has already shown strong results this season, including a title run in the Barcelona Open in April. He has proven he can consistently compete with top tier opponents on the slower courts, and his heavy forehand, explosive movement and ability to get points suits the long rallies and physical demands of Roland Garros. At +2220 you can’t find longer odds on Fils to win compared to FanDuel and BetMGM, which makes this a great bet to take with DraftKings.

The experience from her championship run last year shows she can beat elite competition on the biggest stage. She is improving in her form entering Roland Garros after dealing with an illness earlier in the season. She reached the final in the Italian Open and is playing with confidence. If you like Gauff to repeat this year, take the bet with DraftKings.

FanDuel best bets

  • Joao Fonseca to win the French Open (+8000)

  • Elina Svitolina to win the French Open (+1600)

Svitolina is one of the strongest longshots to win the women’s tournament, and for good reason. She enters Roland Garros in strong form after a great showing at the Italian Open, including wins over top players like Swiatek and Gauff. This makes her a serious dark-horse threat on clay and at +1600 at FanDuel, she is a great bet to make over BetMGM, which has her at shorter odds.

BetMGM best bets

  • Iga Swiatek to win the French Open (+325)

While Swiatek has had some inconsistencies this year entering the French Open, she has an extremely strong track record in Paris and is one of the most dominant women’s tennis players on clay. She already owns four French Open titles, and that should give confidence that she can peak at the right time in this tournament. If you want the best value here, go with BetMGM, which has her to win at the longest odds compared to DraftKings and FanDuel.
