Former Seattle Kraken forward Eeli Tolvanen announced he had signed with the New York Rangers on Wednesday.

Tolvanen and the Rangers agreed to a one-year contract worth $1.15 million.

Last season, with the Seattle Kraken, Tolvanen appeared in 78 games. The 27-year-old recorded 12 goals and 24 assists for a total of 36 points in the 2025-26 season.

Since being drafted30th overall in the 2017 NHL Draft by the Nashville Predators, the forward has appeared in 423 NHL games with two teams [Predators and Kraken].

In his career, he has recorded 92 goals and 98 assists.
