The United Football League will kick off on Friday night, as the Louisville Kings will host the Birmingham Stallions in a game you can catch on Fox. Since the spring league season is here, it’s time for us to take our yearly deep dive into rosters and figure out who some former Green Bay Packers will be playing for.

To the best of my ability, and please correct me if I missed someone, here are all of the former Packers — no matter how little time they actually spent with the club — who made the final cuts for the eight UFL teams in 2026.

Taylor Elgersma was the Canadian product who attempted to make the Green Bay Packers’ roster last summer, but was eventually released at the cutdown deadline. Both he and Sean Clifford were allowed to hit free agency, as the Packers brought in Clayton Tune as the team’s practice squad quarterback for the 2025 season.

Tyrion Davis-Price is a former 2022 third-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers who was in Green Bay for two weeks this August before being released at the cutdown deadline. He was re-signed to the practice squad and was out of football until his signing with the Stallions.

Tyler Davis played 31 games over the 2021 and 2022 seasons with the Packers before suffering a torn ACL in August of 2023 and a shoulder injury in August of 2024, both of which ended his seasons. Last year, he spent about a week with the New England Patriots before being released. The UFL will be Davis’ first gameday opportunity since the 2022 season.

Zack Johnson never played for the Packers in a regular-season game but was on and off the team’s active roster and practice squad from 2020 to 2021. He was named an All-UFL offensive lineman in 2024. Kobe Jones played one game for the Packers in 2022 and mostly spent time on the Packers’ practice squad that season.

Columbus Aviators

Jalen Morton got his start in the NFL with the Packers, but he was released from the team before the start of training camp during the Covid season. Since Green Bay, he’s been on the Indianapolis Colts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL), Birmingham Stallions (UFL) and Southwest Kansas Storm (National Arena League).

Both Alize Mack and Cam McDonald have played tight end for Green Bay. Mack was on the roster bubble for the 2022 season before landing on the injured reserve on August 30th of that year and later being released with an injury settlement. McDonald was with the Packers in 2023.

Henry Black played 25 games for the 2020 to 2021 Packers, playing 289 defensive snaps (mostly in 2021) to 427 special teams reps. Since his stint in Green Bay, he’s been on six other teams.

Dallas Renegades

Ellis Merriweather was the Packers’ practice squad running back for a year and a half from 2023 to 2024, but he never got into regular-season action for Green Bay.

DC Defenders

Adrian Ealy spent all of two weeks with the Packers’ practice squad late in the 2021 season.

Cole Schneider signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He was released around the cutdown deadline as a rookie and then spent the 2023 season with the Birmingham Stallions (then of the USFL) before re-signing with the Packers the next August. He was cut at the deadline again and re-signed with the Stallions in September. The center only recently moved from Birmingham to Orlando.

Keyshawn Banks was a 2023 post-draft signing for the Packers who ended up making Green Bay’s practice squad as a rookie. The only game action he ever saw for the Packers was in the team’s playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers, where he played nine special teams snaps. He was brought back on a reserve-futures contract in 2024 but was released at the cutdown deadline in August.

St. Louis Battlehawks

Michael Pratt and Tariq Carpenter are both former seventh-round picks of the Packers. Pratt was released at the end of his rookie training camp, making room for the trade of Malik Willis. He spent the 2024 season with the Buccaneers’ practice squad before being released with an injury settlement in August of 2025.

Carpenter played 14 games for the Packers as a rookie, with 122 of his 138 snaps coming on special teams. The next year, he was moved from safety to linebacker and was unable to make Green Bay’s final roster, leading him to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad and later to stints with the San Antonio Brahmas and now the Battlehawks in the UFL.

Jarveon Howard got his start in the NFL with the Packers, but he was waived with an injury settlement in mid-August of his rookie season. This is his second stint with the Battlehawks.

Michael Barrett was a member of the Packers’ practice squad for a little over a month in his rookie season of 2024. Green Bay was his fourth NFL team that he signed to during his rookie year, following the Carolina Panthers’ selection of him in the seventh round. After the 2024 season, the Packers elected not to sign him to a reserve-futures deal.
