Tiger Woods’ future in golf may depend on whether he is allowed to use a cart after his five-year driving ban.
Woods’ licence was suspended at a court hearing on Wednesday following his arrest in March.

He was also fined $1500 for the incident in which he rolled his Land Rover while overtaking another vehicle.
Woods has now been given a positive update on whether he can use golf carts in Florida despite his driving ban.

Ron DeSantis weighs in on Tiger Woods’ golf cart future
Florida State Attorney Thomas Bakkedahl was asked on Wednesday whether Woods’ driving ban would apply to golf carts.
Bakkedahl responded: “That’s a great question. You know what? You’ve got me. We’ll have to look into that.”
Golf carts are particularly important for Woods given that his several long-term injuries have made walking more difficult.

He would also be eligible to use a golf cart on the PGA Tour Champions should he decide to compete on the tour.
Thankfully for Woods, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis expects him to be allowed to use golf carts during his driving suspension.
“Tiger should be able to drive a golf cart on the golf course,” DeSantis tweeted. “People who lose their license aren’t typically barred from driving a golf cart on a golf course.”
Woods has not indicated whether he will return to competitive golf in the foreseeable future.
