Earlier this week Tiger Woods pleaded no contest to charges related to his DUI from earlier this year. As part of the punishment, he is not allowed to operate a motor vehicle in Florida. But there’s some controversy over whether or not a golf cart counts, and one person with a say in that is ready to defend Woods.

Yesterday, a Florida official admitted he wasn’t sure whether Woods would be allowed to drive a golf cart on a golf course as part of his plea deal. Woods legally can’t drive one on the streets and roads, but driving one on a golf course is a trickier subject.
