The NASCAR All-Star Race is making its way to North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina.
If you’re a first-time fan heading to the racetrack, you’ve picked a dandy of a race to make your first.

The Fan Zone at North Wilkesboro has all kinds of displays, interactive stands and live music to keep fans entertained throughout race day and the entire weekend.

North Wilkesboro Speedway cooler policy, prohibited items
Coolers under the size of 14-inches by 14-inches by 14-inches are allowed into the speedway for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Food and beverages are allowed, but no glass containers.
Here’s a list of items that are not allowed at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
- All bags must be no larger than 14″x14″x14″ (check event specific information before arriving at the track)
- No umbrellas of any kind are allowed in the grandstands, suites
- No glass containers
- Strollers are allowed inside the gates, but are not allowed in the grandstands
- No pets (NOTE: Emotional Support Animals are not permitted inside the facility)
- No weapons, including, but not limited to, firearms, knives and impact weapons
- No skateboards, roller skates or scooters
- No bicycles, mopeds, etc.
- No beach balls, balloons, etc.
- No signs or banners
- No horns, whistles or other loud items
- No stadium seats with arm rests
Do not forget sunscreen!
If you plan on heading out to the track early in the day, do not forget to bring sunscreen. If you’re just going when the All-Star Race starts, you can skip this part of the checklist.
Hit those merchandise haulers
Near the fan zone, there are merchandise haulers with all kinds of items for sale. Anything from hats, t-shirts, flags, pens, pencils and, of course, diecast cars, are available in these haulers. The haulers are separated by race team (for example, Hendrick Motorsports is in one hauler with Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, William Byron and Alex Bowman merchandise).
Don’t forget to eat!
There are concession stands and food trucks around the speedway. Make sure to look around and find your favorites to enjoy at the racetrack.
North Wilkesboro Speedway cashless?
North Wilkesboro Speedway is a cashless venue. Fans need to bring a credit or debit card, cash is not accepted.
Get to your seat early for NASCAR All-Star Race
You’ll want to make sure to get to your seat pretty early, give yourself some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful views before the chaotic racing action begins. There will also be lots of standing, including for every restart, a few laps after, and as the race is coming to a close.
