What’s up y’all?

Welcome back to the playlist.

It’s week 19 in fantasy basketball.

Week 18 was crazy between the injuries and all the milestones in history that was made.

A lot of things to unpack, so I’m gonna go through a couple of highlights from week 18 as well as give you some pickups and schedule things you need to know for week 19.

So gotta talk about LeBron James.

He’s the first player in NBA history to amass 50,000 career points across the regular season and postseason.

But while he’s battling on the court against Stephen A, he’s also gonna be battling a groin injury that’s gonna cost him 1 to 2 weeks for fantasy basketball.

Just awful timing for this injury to occur.

Dalton Kick is the player that I would add as a result of LeBron’s injury.

Also, the New York Knicks.

Maybe Tom Thibodeaux’s strategy of wearing down Jalen Brunson is starting to take a toll.

He wound up sprained his ankle late last week, so he’s going to be missing two weeks.

Add Deuce McBride if you’re looking for someone to start in the playoffs if they start in week 20 like Yahoo Public default leagues do.

And then lastly, Houston Rockets star guard Ian Thompson is gonna be missing two weeks with a sprained ank.

As well that elevates Jabari Smith Junior and Dylan Brooks.

So let’s get to the pickups that I’m gonna make specifically for week 19.

Add Andrew Nemhard.

He’s still under 30% roster, and he was a top 50 player in week 18 with Tyrese Halliburton missing two games.

Looking at the Indiana Pacers’ schedule, they played two sets of back to back, so there’s a good chance that Halliburton or TJ McConnell, who’s coming off of an injury, could sit, which elevates Nemhard, who’s had.

The double-double in his last two outings at him in all leagues.

Also, I would pick up Daron Sharp.

The Brooklyn Nets play 5 games, which is a huge scheduling advantage.

And even if he still comes off the bench as a reserve, he’s gonna get more minutes this week with some of those vets resting.

When he sees at least 20 minutes, he’s averaging 10 points, 9 boards, 3 assists, and over 2 stocks per game.

I think it’s gonna be a good ad for week 19.

Another good add is Keyshawn George, the Wiz.

have one of the best schedules this week.

He’s averaging 11 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and over 2 stocks per game over his last 4 contests.

His minutes are gonna continue to ramp up, and that’s why you should add him in fantasy.

All right, before we jump into the week 19 schedule, I just want to remind everybody if you’re playing in a Yahoo Public League or you’re playing in a Yahoo Private league with default settings, your playoffs will begin in week 20.

So that means that week 19 is the final time to make that push to either make the playoffs or secure the buy.

So if you’re trying to do that this week, the best days to stream are on Tuesday and Thursday.

You also might be able to get some additional streaming in at the back end of the week on Saturday and Sunday with only 8 games on both of those days.

Now, Let’s talk about the teams that you wanna target.

First and foremost has to be the Brooklyn Nets.

They played 5 games this week, landing on mostly the lighter slate days.

They play on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, as well as a Saturday, Sunday, back to back.

Keyon Johnson, Zaire Williams, Dayron Sharp, those guys are gonna be having some, some really productive weeks for you in fantasy, so make sure you add them if you have the opportunity to.

But then also I would be looking at the Milwaukee Bucks.

They play on Tuesday.

Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

So Kevin Porter Junior and Gary Trent Junior, those are guys that I’ll be looking at for points, threes, as well as maybe some steals.

Kevin Porter Junior did drop a triple-double not too long ago, so he could be someone that has um some sneaky value in a week like this.

Also, I would take a look at the Washington Wizards.

You know, Alexar and Blau Bali are probably rostered right now, but Bob Carrington is another guy in addition to Keyshawn George that I’ll be paying attention to.

The Wizards play on Tuesday and Thursday this week as well as Saturday.

So those are really good days to start them.

But also if you have Minnesota Timberwolves on your roster, it probably doesn’t help to hold them because their first game starts on Wednesday.

So Monday and Tuesday, you’re not getting any production out of someone like Mike Alexander Walker.

So it’s just something to keep in mind, but then also at the end of the week, the Sacramento.

Kings, their last game is on Friday.

So Keyon Ellis, if you’re in a fight for, you know, a playoff spot, he might be expendable because the Kings don’t play over the weekend.

So if you make it towards the end of the week and you’re looking for that final boost, there are 3 teams that play a Saturday, Sunday, back to back, that is the Bucks, the Nets, and the Thunder.

So you can possibly get a couple of games production off of just one transaction.

That’ll pretty much do it for this week.

I know it’s, it’s gonna be crazy, it’s gonna be hectic, managing the injury reports and and trying to stay ahead of the curve, but you know, make sure you hone in on the main teams there.

Check out my my article, the playlist.

It runs through in much more detail about how I’m managing this week, so I’ll hopefully see y’all in week 20 in the fancy playoffs.

Peace.
