The player was severely affected after saying goodbye to his fans, as this season will mark the end of his time as a colchonero.
His destination? Despite news denying a possible arrival in Mexican football, journalist Fabrizio Romano confirms that the Argentine will join Tigres.
“Angelito Correa says goodbye to Atlético Madrid fans… as he’s set to join Tigres de México. A new chapter, soon,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
The Tigres will start building their squad for the Apertura 2025, after a heavy 3-0 defeat to Toluca in the Clausura 2025 semifinal second leg.
