Career redemption will only come for one fighter with US superstar Errol Spence Jnr. set to return from hiatus to fight Australia’s ‘The Phoenix’ Tim Tszyu.
Spence Jnr. and Tszyu are set to lock horns in the US summer – or Australian winter – according to American fight scribe Mike Coppinger.
This report was confirmed by Australia’s Fox Sports, with Spence Jnr. set to be in his first fight since losing to Terrence Crawford in 2023.
Tszyu – who has lost three straight title fights in the US – would likely fight once prior to the Spence Jnr. showdown – possibly when Liam Paro has his IBF world title bout.

When asked last month about a potential fight with Spence Jnr., Tszyu was emphatic about his willingness to set up the blockbuster.
“Oh, of course I’d be keen. Are you serious?,” Tszyu jovially stated to Fox Sports.
“That one, if it is to happen, would be a megafight for Australia. One of the biggest ever for an Aussie, and up there alongside Jeff Horn versus Manny Pacquiao.
“It’s an intriguing match up too. And with huge stakes and plenty of questions on both sides. Do I still have it? Does Spence still have it?
“But I’ll leave all that to my team. I head back overseas next Friday and start preparations for whoever is next.”
Tszyu – who beat Anthony Velazquez in December – has been trying to get his career back on track after suffering three losses in the four previous fights, with two of them to Sebastian Fundora.
Spence Jnr.’s camp are yet to comment on a potential showdown between their charge and Tszyu.
