One name the staff has identified as a potential target is LSU offensive coordinator Joe Sloan. LSU is averaging 34.1 points per game this season, which ranks 29th in the nation. Sloan is slated to be an attractive candidate this offseason given his success at LSU in developing quarterbacks like Jayden Daniels and Garrett Nussmeier. Prior to joining LSU in 2022, Sloan spent nine years at Louisiana Tech in various offensive roles and as one of the Bulldogs’ lead recruiters.
