VIRGINIA WATER, England — The DP World Tour’s newfound collaboration with the Asian Tour will see events in Hong Kong and Singapore return to the schedule for 2027.
Next year’s calendar also features a return for Portugal’s national open after an absence of seven years.

The PGA Tour, DP World Tour and Asian Tour announced a strategic alliance in July through to 2029, helping provide commercial and playing opportunities and establish a path for Asian Tour members to join European circuits.
Those opportunities come immediately, with the Singapore Open — established in 1961 — back on the DPWT circuit after 14 years and to be played at Sentosa Golf Club in April.
The Hong Kong Open is returning to the European tour after eight years and will take place in October.
The Open de Portugal will be in May as part of the European Swing of events.
Because of the scheduling of the Ryder Cup in Ireland from Sept. 17-19, three events — the Irish Open, the French Open and the flagship BMW PGA Championship — move dates.

The Irish Open will switch to July, while the French Open and the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth will be held the weeks either side of the Ryder Cup.
In total, the global schedule will feature 42 tournaments in 24 different countries.
