  • Trump has a history of claiming victories at his own golf courses, raising skepticism about the legitimacy of these wins.
  • Trump has claimed multiple victories in tournaments held at his own golf courses.

Donald Trump recently entered another golf championship played at one of his courses.

Shockingly, he emerged as the winner … his sixth championship this season.

The White House boasted on ‘X’ on August 2 that the president won the 2025 Men’s Senior Club Championship at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. He had a gross score of 69 and a net 67, meaning he shot a 69, and after the score was adjusted with his handicap, his net score was two shots lower.

Trump’s net score implies a low single-digit handicap.

“Winning on and off the course,” the White House wrote.

The runner-up shot an 80, but his handicap just happened to put him one shot behind Trump.

The round was played the same day a video caught Trump once again receiving assistance from a caddie. This time his ball was dropped on a green and it showed Trump fumbling it around with his putter, before picking it up, for whatever reason.

In competition, it is never legal for your caddie to drop a ball. This is the second viral video that has surfaced recently involving Trump’s loose interpretation of golf rules. In the other, his caddie sneakily dropped a ball for Trump in the fairway while he was playing at his course in Scotland.

Trump is notorious for cheating on the golf course, a reputation that goes back decades.

Trump’s score raises more questions. This is at least the second time he has alleged to have shot a 69 or lower at his New Jersey course.

The Palm Beach resident posted on Truth Social he won the 2023 Senior Club Championship at Bedminster with a 67. That same month, LIV Golf held an event at Bedminster and of the 144 rounds, only six LIV golfers shot 67 or lower. It is not known from which tees Trump plays.

Following that title, Trump wrote: “For some reason, I am just a good golfer/athlete − I have won many Club Championships, and it is always a great honor!”

Trump on his handicap: ‘Very low. I’ve a very low handicap’

As for that handicap … let’s say Trump claims a 2 or a 3 handicap. Scottie Scheffler, the best golfer on the planet, is a plus-7 handicap when he plays with his friends at home, according to Golf Digest, nine or 10 shots better than the 79-year-old Trump.

Trump was asked about his handicap in March while aboard Air Force One.

“Very low,” he said. “I’ve a very low handicap.”

This is Trump’s second championship since shifting his golf getaways from his course outside of West Palm Beach to Bedminster — or his course in Scotland — for the summer.

Trump boasted on his Truth Social website on July 13, that he won the Member-Member Championship at Bedminster with partner Tommy Urciuoli.

“In between meetings and phone calls, it was a Great Honor to win the Member-Member Championship, at Trump National, Bedminster (Gross, no strokes), with Tommy Urciuoli as my partner. The Many other competitors were not only great Golfers, but also terrific people!” Trump wrote.

Trump now is claiming six championships this year, including teaming with Finnish President Alexander Stubb to win the Men’s Member-Guest tournament in late March at Trump International West Palm Beach. He also was declared the winner at the Senior Club Championship at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter one week later.

In fact, its difficult to say when he did not win an event held at one of his courses.

But he certainly gets in enough practice. According to the Donald Trump Golf Tracker, the president has golfed 49 days since returning to office January 20, or about 25 percent of his time.
