A fight for lightweight gold has gotten personal, and Keyshawn Davis looks to take out WBO champion Denys Berinchyk on Friday, February 14. The fight in Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater airs on ESPN+ and Fubo in the U.S.

Berinchyk (19-0) beat Emanuel Navarrete to win the WBO title, adding to a historic 2024 for Ukrainian boxers. After fighting up the ladder, Berinchyk’s not ready to give up his belt just yet. The 36-year-old has nine wins via knockout.

A 2020 Olympic silver medallist, Davis (12-0) has quickly become a top-tier fighter. After a win was overturned because of a positive marijuana test, “The Businessman” has won three straight. Two of those wins were via knockout.

Tensions grew at the pre-fight press conference when Davis received a vile “gift” and presumed it was from Berinchyk’s camp. They then got into a shoving match at the weigh-ins. With a lot to say, Davis is now ready to let his fists do the talking.

“I don’t care about none of your experience or amateur experience. I don’t care about your silver medal. I don’t even care about your watch, your belt, or any of that. I’m going to f— you up on Friday.”

On the Denys Berinchyk vs. Keyshawn Davis undercard, rising stars look to improve their craft, young prospects are ready to impress and the grandson of a legend continues his journey.
