Colorado head coach Deion Sanders said the Philadelphia Eagles contacted Shedeur Sanders during the 2025 NFL draft prior to his selection by the Cleveland Browns.
Coach Prime rehashed the draft on the newest episode of the New Heights podcast. During the interview, he also addressed a report about Shedeur balking at the idea of getting picked by the Baltimore Ravens.
“How in the world can somebody fault him for saying or thinking, ‘Why in the world would I go back up Lamar (Jackson) for 10 more years?'” Sanders said. “I’ve never sat on the bench and said, ‘Well, I learned a lot today.'”
