How many drivers are in the Daytona 500?
There are 44 drivers on the Daytona 500 entry list for Sunday’s race. Jimmie Johnson, driving the No. 84 for Legacy Motor Club, will be participating in the race through an open exemption provisional. There are nine unchartered cars competing for spots in the starting grid.
