New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones feels like the offense suffered a regression in the team’s 17-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football.

Jones told reporters after the game that it was “very disappointing” that the Giants scored just seven points this week after an impressive 29-20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5:

The Giants actually outgained the Bengals 309-304 and won the time of possession 34:07-25:53 in Sunday night’s loss. However, New York struggled to get into the end zone, reverting to its issues from the start of the season.

Jones completed 22 of his 41 passes for 205 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. He also led the Giants with 56 rushing yards on 11 carries. The loss continued his struggles in prime-time games:

Jones and the Giants will try to bounce back when they face the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC East battle next Sunday.
