Dale Earnhardt Jr. says data shows a NASCAR rule change has cut into Toyota’s advantage this season. He also pointed to how Denny Hamlin’s comments have changed since the rule took effect.
Earnhardt broke down the numbers on the Dirty Air podcast on Tuesday. He said he waited for a true intermediate track before drawing conclusions, and Kansas Speedway was the first since the change.

Starting at North Wilkesboro in July, teams had to add struts to the front of the splitter. The struts keep the splitter from moving or deforming at speed, according to FOX Sports reporter Bob Pockrass.
