Dale Earnhardt Jr. is hinting at some big news on Thursday morning, May 22.
The retired NASCAR Cup Series driver is still very much connected to the sport of professional racing. Dale Jr. works as a TV analyst for NASCAR, switching over from NBC to Amazon Prime and TNT Sports. He’s set to work this weekend, for the Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Dale Jr. is also very involved in the CARS Tour. The American stock car racing tour was in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina over the weekend. The CARS Tour, which Dale Jr. has some ownership in, was broadcasted for the first time on Fox Sports 1. It’s set to have more aired races moving forward.
The legendary NASCAR driver hinted at some big news on Thursday.
Dale Jr. took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to weigh in with some big-time news.
“Big day tomorrow. Will unveil a design I’m running at the @CARSTour @AndersonSpeedwy event later this year. @JRMotorsports fan day autograph session. A live podcast with wife Amy at JRM. Later tomorrow evening the first 2 episodes of “Earnhardt” are available on @PrimeVideo,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday evening.

Dale Jr. is set to compete at a CARS Tour event at the Anderson Speedway in South Carolina later this year. It’ll be fun to see the legendary NASCAR driver back behind the wheel of the car.
NASCAR fans are certainly excited about that, too, as they can’t wait to see him race.
“Wait you’re running Anderson? HELL YEAH,” one fan wrote.
“Gonna be a good day!” one fan added.
“Awesome!!! I’ll tune in after building houses with Habitat For Humanity. On vacation until end of May. Can’t get too lazy. Awesome post!!!” another fan wrote.
There are few current or former NASCAR drivers that are as loved by the fan base at large as Dale Earnhardt Jr. It’s cool to see him interacting with the fan base as much as he does.
