William Byron increased his NASCAR Cup Series regular season points lead after recording a top-5 finish in the Cracker Barrel 400 on June 1 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Byron’s fifth-place finish is his fourth top-5 finish in the last seven races, and Byron’s lead is now nearly a full race over Kyle Larson.
Ryan Blaney’s victory at Nashville locks the driver of the No. 12 Team Penske Ford into the playoffs, the eighth different winner in the Cup Series this season.
