We’re down to just three months until the loudest show in golf makes its way to the Northeast.
The 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York is 92 days away. Preparation on the grounds likely started months ago, but it’s ramping up, now, as grandstands and hospitality infrastructure seem to be going up.
Renderings for this year’s main grandstands show a wrap-around style that will envelope both the first tee and the 18th green at Bethpage, allowing for the raucous and rowdy supporters to pull double-duty.
Team USA — led by captain Keegan Bradley — will be looking to recapture the Ryder Cup after the Europeans dominated Rome in 2023. The Europeans will be captained by Luke Donald in this year’s edition.
Bradley has a big decision to make after his win at the Travelers Championship this past weekend: Does he play, does he stay as captain, or both?
So far, two players have automatically secured their roster spot on their respective teams: World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler clinched a spot for Team USA, while World No. 2 Rory McIlroy clinched a spot for Team Europe.
The 2025 Ryder Cup is set for Sept. 26-28.
