Virginia native and two-time NASCAR Local Racing Series National Champion Connor Hall will drive the No. 16VA Pace-O-Matic Modified for Sadler-Stanley Racing in Saturday’s SMART Modified Tour event at Anderson Motor Speedway.

2026 SMART Modified Tour at Anderson Motor Speedway
Hall, who competed full-time on the CARS Late Model Stock Tour for JR Motorsports in 2025, is excited about the opportunity to sit behind the wheel of a Modified.
“I appreciate Hermie and Senator Stanley for giving me this opportunity at Anderson,” Hall said. “I love short-track racing, and I am excited to drive one of these cars for the first time. I’m stoked to be able to team with defending SMART Modified Tour champion Luke Baldwin and the entire Sadler-Stanley Racing team.”
Sadler-Stanley Racing co-owners Senator Bill Stanley and Hermie Sadler announced prior to the season that the No. 16VA Modified entry would feature several different drivers, to introduce some new drivers to the competitive SMART Modified Tour.

Team co-owner Hermie Sadler drove the car in the SMART opener at Florence and his brother Elliott, the 1995 track champion at South Boston Speedway, will drive the car for the King of the Modifieds race at South Boston on March 21. Additional drivers for later in the season will be announced.
“First and foremost, Connor is a wheelman,” Hermie Sadler said. “He has won in everything he’s driven, but one of the more impressive things I saw in person was when he hopped in a Truck a couple of years ago at Richmond for the first time and raced his way to a top-10 finish… that’s not easy to do. We’re looking forward to seeing him in the No. 16VA Modified at Anderson.”
