According to Fabrizio Romano, Como are considering a potential move to sign Kiliann Sildillia (22) from SC Freiburg. The Frenchman is an option for the Serie A side as they seek to recruit a new right-back before the close of the January transfer window. The deadline is on Monday.
Sildillia is not the only option under consideration. Como have also identified Porto defender João Mario as an alternative solution to bolster their options at right-back. The 22-year-old defender has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club throughout the winter window as several clubs have shown an interest.
Marseille have previously shown an interest in signing the France youth international, L’Équipe reports. Roberto De Zerbi is a fan of the player, but no offer has arrived for the defender. Romano understands Como are in negotiations to sign the Frenchman and will make a final decision on the defender they want to sign soon.
